(Richmond Devils)With a pair of shutouts 10 hours apart, Richmond Devils goalie Jenna Ehling is the First Star of the week.
Ehling made 13 saves in a 1-0 win over the Island Surge in a make-up game at Minoru Arena on Saturday afternoon, then earned a 30-save shutout ina 4-0 decision over the Fraser Valley Jets that evening.
Ehling lowered her goals against average to 2.67. She has three shutouts on the season.
Second Star: Michelle Ziegler
(South Fraser TNT)Defender Michelle Ziegler netted two goals and a pair of assists to help the South Fraser TNT to a 7-0 win over the Island Surge.
In 21 games played this season, Ziegler has eight goals and 10 points.
Third Star: Haylee Gosselin
(Kamloops Vibe)Haylee Gosselin collected three points in a pair of games against the Meadow Ridge Moose, helping the Kamloops Vibe to a win and a tie.
Gosselin, a defender, had an assist in a 4-2 win Saturday, then added another assist to go along with her first goal of the season in Sunday’s 2-2 tie.
