The first game is underway at the South Coast Women’s Hockey League Provincial Playoff Tournament in Chilliwack,
Six teams have qualified for the three-day tournament, to be played at the Sardis Spots Complex. Six round robin games will be played to determine the four teams to advance to the semifinal round Saturday night.
The championship game will be played Sunday at 12:15 pm, with the winner crowned as the SCWHL playoff champion and the BC Hockey provincial Senior AA women’s champion.
The Meadow Ridge Moose are the defending provincial champions and are coming off their second consecutive first-place finish. They are the top-seed in Pool A, which also includes the fourth-place Kamloops Vibe and fifth-place Richmond Devils.
In Pool B are the Fraser Valley Jets (second-place), North Shore Rebels (third-place) and the South Fraser TNT (sixth-place).
