All-stars set for Saturday

SCWHL

The annual South Coast Women’s Hockey League All-Star Game and Skills Competition takes place Saturday, featuring players from each of the league’s eight teams.
The 40 players will form four teams of 10 players each (one goalie, three defenders, six forwards) for the event, which gets underway at 10 am at the Richmond Ice Centre (Forum rink),
Players will compete in fastest skater, hardest shot, shootout an\d accuracy competitions.
The skills competition will be followed by the 3-on-3 segment, which features four teams playing a pair of semifinal games followed by a championship game.
