Week 17: Three Stars of the Week

First Star: Rochelle Smith (Kamloops Vibe)

Rochelle Smith tallied three times in as many games, as the Kamloops Vibe earned a pair of wins and a tie in three games in the Lowwr Mainland.
Smith scored once in a 2-2 tie with the Island Surge Friday night at Planet Ice - Delta, and added two goals in a 4-1 win over the Surge Sunday.
In 10 games played with the Vibe, Smith has 13 goals and 21 points.

Second Star: Melinda Choy (Island Surge)

Melinda Choy faced 79 shots over two games against the Kamloops Vibe, stopping 74 of them for a save percentage of .934.
Choy stopped 37 shots in a 2-2 tie Friday night, then stopped all but three of 40 shots faced Sunday in a 4-1 loss.

Third Star: Rachel McLaughlin (Fraser Valley Jets)

Rachel McLaughlin scored both goals in a losing cause as the Fraser Valley Jets fell 3-2 to the TWU Spartans Sunday afternoon at the Langley Events Centre.
McLaughlin has scored six goals and added eight assists in 10 games played with the Jets this season.
