The Silver Creek Travel/SCWHL Provincial Championship Tournament gets under way tomorrow (Friday, March 29) in Hope, B.C.
The top six teams from the SCWHL regular season have qualified for the tournament, presented by the Silver Creek Travel Centre at the Hope ad District Recreation Centre. The teams will be placed into two groups of three for round robin play all day Friday and Saturday morning. Pool A features the defending champion Fraser Valley Jets, the two-time BC champion South Fraser TNT, and the Richmond Devils. In Pool B are the six-time provincial champion Kamloops Vibe, the 2014 BC champion Meadow Ridge Moose, and the North Shore Rebels.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for two semifinal games Saturday night. The championship game goes Sunday afternoon at 12:15 p.m.
