Rosters have been announced for the South Coast Women’s Hockey League All-Star Game.
Team Black will face-off with Team White at the annual event, which will be played at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Richond Ice Centre. Thirty-four players from the nine SCWHL teams have been invited to play in the full-length game.
Automatic selections include Lindsay DiPietro of the Fraser Valley Jets, a former NCAA player with Michigan’s Wayne State Warriors and a two-time SCWHL scoring champion, and last season’s Most Outstanding Player and former St. Cloud State Huskies forward Payge Pena of the Meadow Ridge Moose.
The four goaltenders selected are 2017-18 Most Outstanding Goalie Ashley Fisher of the Kamloops Vibe, former University of Saskatchewan Huskies goalie Cassidy Hendricks of the North Shore Rebels, Stacey Wilson of the Fraser Valley Jets, and Megan Buchanan of the Island Surge.
