To ensure the safety of all involved, and that protocols of every arena it plays in are followed, all participants in any SCWHL game – players, coaches, bench staff, off-ice officials and on-ice officials - must have on file a copy of a BC Vaccine Card with the South Coast Women’s Hockey League prior to participating in a regular season game for the 2021-22 season.
It is the responsibility of each team to collect an electronic image of a BC Vaccine Card from each participant. Participants who do not have a BC Vaccine Card on file with the league may not participate in an SCWHL game. Players participating in a game without having a BC Vaccine Card on file will be considered an ineligible player.
As per BC government guidelines, participants currently must have one dose of COVID-19 vaccine to enter a recreational facility. As of Oct. 24, participants must have received a second dose.
The intent of this policy is to keep all participants safe while taking part in a SCWHL game, and to ensure our teams and the league are following BC Health Authority guidelines so that the SCWHL may play a full season of competitive hockey.
