First Star: Megan Buchanan (Island Surge)
Megan Buchanan had a .949 save percentage over two games, leading the Island Surge to a win and a tie during a three-game road trip to the Lower Mainland.
Buchanan made 11 saves in a 2-0 victory over the TWU Spartans Saturday afternoon at the Langley Events Centre, then stopped another 26 shots in a 2-2 tie with the Richmond Devils.
Second Star: Lindsay DiPietro (Fraser Valley Jets)
Defending SCWHL scoring champion Lindsay DiPietro of the Fraser Valley Jets collected a goal and two assists in a 4-3 victory over the North Shore Rebels.
DiPietro is on pace for a third consecutive scoring title, leading the SCWHL scoring race with 21 goals and 37 points in 14 games played.
